Multi-turn absolute encoders provide the angular position based on the reading of the digital code from the encoder disk. Position information is provided when the power is turned on and is controlled throughout the encoder operation. In the event of a power outage or after exceeding and reducing the cutoff frequency, the multiturn encoder still provides the correct position.
